Emylee Patenaude (she/her) - I'm a personal stylist living in Cambridge, Massachusetts with over a decade of experience working in Fashion and Apparel consultation. I've studied business management and marketing, and am working towards a degree in Psychology.
I believe in style as an expression of self, and view intentionality in our wardrobes as a form of self-care. By keeping a well-organized and curated collection of clothing we feel great in, we minimize decision fatigue as it relates to this expression, and free ourselves to focus on matters of more significant substance.
With The Smart Dresser, I hope to save clients time, money, and energy. More than that, I aim to do so while focusing on the relationship between our minds, bodies, and habits. With confidence and a good tailor, a Smart Dresser is capable of anything.
Textile waste takes an enormous toll on our planet. We will always lean into second-hand fashion, repairing versus replacing, and eco-friendly brands where appropriate, being mindful of the privilege involved in each application.
You and your body are safe with us. We will always verbally protect your physical form during our time together. Any space we create together will be one where you are celebrated.
Style, like the world around us, is ever-evolving. Our goal is to never stop learning, growing, and improving.
